Faith TATTOO SHOP Santa Rosa FAQs
If you still have any questions about getting tattooed, or what to expect during your tattoo appointment at Faith, just give us a call at (707) 566-9955 or fill out the form below and we will follow up with you as soon as possible!
+ Do You Take Tattoo Walk-Ins?
Yes, we do accept Tattoo Walk-ins! We try to accommodate walk-ins and same-day appointments as much as possible, but calling ahead to reserve a spot, or booking an appointment online will help ensure you are able to secure the soonest appointment available.
+ How Old Do I Have to Be to Get a Tattoo?
In California, the law requires that a person must be at least 18 years of age in order legally to get a tattoo. When you come in for your tattoo appointment, you will need to bring a valid driver's license, state I.D., or passport to verify that you are 18 years or older. Even if a legal guardian is present, we will not tattoo anyone underage - no exceptions. TATTOO DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.
+ Do You Do Piercings?
No, we do not offer any piercing services at Faith Tattoo.
+ How Much Will My Tattoo Cost?
The price of your tattoo will depend on the size of the piece, the amount of detail involved in the artwork, and the amount of time the appointment will take. Every tattoo artist will have their own pricing and will give you a quote for the tattoo during a consultation where you can provide examples and details of what you want to get.
+ Should I Bring Cash to My Tattoo Appointment?
We only accept cash payments. We do not accept credit card payments at this time. For your convenience, we have an ATM on-site in the shop for you to use to withdraw cash.
+ Does My Deposit Go Towards the Cost of My Tattoo?
Yes, when you schedule your appointment you will be required to leave a deposit and that money will go towards the total price of your tattoo. TATTOO DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.
+ Can I Bring in My Own Drawing to Get Tattooed?
Yes. Our artists want to work with you to create a custom tattoo that you will love for the rest of your life! So please bring in anything you think is a good example of what you want your tattoo to look like. To ensure your tattoo turns out perfectly, we may suggest some adjustments to the design, size, or placement.
+ How Should I Prepare for my Tattoo Appointment?
On the day of your tattoo appointment make sure you are hydrated, well-rested, and have eaten recently. Make sure the area you are getting tattooed is clean and free of any irritation or abrasions.
+ Can I Drink Alcohol Before My Tattoo Appointment?
No, you should never drink alcohol before getting tattooed. If you have been drinking or are visibly impaired in any way, we will not tattoo you. Getting tattooed while under the influence of alcohol, pain killers, or any substance that can thin your blood can greatly interfere with the quality of your tattoo. TATTOO DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.
+ Does Getting a Tattoo Hurt?
Yes, getting tattooed can be painful. Everyone has their own level of pain tolerance though, and different areas of the body can be more painful than others. Our artists will do everything they can to ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout your appointment. Tell your artist immediately if you want to take a break or start to feel lightheaded, woozy, or anything less than normal.
+ Can I Bring a Friend to My Tattoo Appointment?
Yes, you can bring one guest 18 years or orlder to your tattoo appointment with you. Your guest will need to stay in the lobby area at all times, and will not be permitted in the tattoo area.
+ Will I Need to Wear a Mask to My Tattoo Appointment?
In accordance with local ordinance, masks are optional. If you would prefer your artist to wear a mask while tattooing you, they will gladly do so.
+ What is Your Cancelation Policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment we require a minimum of 24-hour notice. If you fail to give your artists enough notice, no call no show, or come more than 30 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to pay another deposit to rebook your appointment. TATTOO DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.
