No, you should never drink alcohol before getting tattooed. If you have been drinking or are visibly impaired in any way, we will not tattoo you. Yes, getting tattooed can be painful. Everyone has their own level of pain tolerance though, and different areas of the body can be more painful than others. Our artists will do everything they can to ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout your appointment. Tell your artist immediately if you want to take a break or start to feel lightheaded, woozy, or anything less than normal.

Yes, you can bring one guest 18 years or orlder to your tattoo appointment with you. Your guest will need to stay in the lobby area at all times, and will not be permitted in the tattoo area.

In accordance with local ordinance, masks are optional. If you would prefer your artist to wear a mask while tattooing you, they will gladly do so.

If you need to cancel your appointment we require a minimum of 24-hour notice. If you fail to give your artists enough notice, no call no show, or come more than 30 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to pay another deposit to rebook your appointment. + How Long Should I Leave My Bandage on After Getting a Tattoo?

Your artist will advise you on how long to leave your bandage on but it should remain wrapped for at least 2 hours after your tattoo appointment. Different tattoos will benefit from leaving the bandage on longer, but you will need to remove it to wash the tattoo within 24 hours no matter what. Once you have removed the bandage you should never re-bandage your tattoo.

After removing your bandage you will want to rinse your tattoo with lukewarm water and gently wash it with mild, scent-free soap until all the plasma, blood, and fluid buildup are removed. Let the skin air dry, and apply a thin layer of scent-free ointment to the entire area. You will want to repeat this process once or twice a day for a week. After the first week, you will switch to a fragrance-free, oil-free lotion and continue to wash your new tattoo at least once a day. Always use freshly washed hands to gently cleanses the surface of your skin. Never use a washcloth or loofah sponge to wash your new tattoo, as these products can harbor harmful bacteria, and be too abrasive on your healing skin.

Follow your artist's recommendation on what ointment you should use, but A+D Ointment and Aquaphor are two of the most popular products to use on new tattoos to help them heal. You want to make sure your skin can breathe so too much ointment can be detrimental to the healing process and your tattoo. Avoid products like Vaseline that are 100 percent petroleum-based, or anything scented or dyed. After the first week of healing, you will switch to a scent-free lotion like Aveeno or Lubriderm.

As your tattoo is healing, it will get itchy, scabby, and flaky, but you should never pick, itch, or scratch at it. It is best to avoid any water activities for at least the first 2 weeks and never submerge a new tattoo in ANY water - no baths, no hot tubs, no swimming pools, no lakes, no rivers, etc. Keep your new tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks.
